  • Patent number: 8733727
Abstract: A connector for connecting formwork panels in a formwork assembly comprises a first elongate portion having triangular cross-section, a second elongate in sliding contact with the first elongate portion, and a third elongate portion in sliding contact with the first elongate portion. A guiding device is coupling the first elongate portion, the second elongate portion, and the third elongate portion. An actuator drives movement of the second elongate portion and third movement along the guiding device. The second elongate portion and the third elongate portion are movable toward and away from each. The second and third elongate portions also each being movable relative to the first elongate portion.

  • Publication number: 20130264452
Abstract: A fly form table truss comprises a first chord and a second chord. A plurality of web members extend between the first chord and the second chord. The fly form table truss also has a plurality of legs. Each of the legs is connected to a corresponding one of the web members. Each of the leg members includes a telescoping member and a screw jack. The screw jack is hingedly coupled to the telescoping member. The web members may be A-frame members and may be movable longitudinally along the first chord and the second chord.

  • Publication number: 20080017783
Abstract: A formwork panel assembly for concrete building construction has a pair of formwork panels with parallel walls, an elongate support member extending between the walls and a clamp securing the walls of the formwork panels to the support member. The support member has a substantially U-shaped cross-section with a pair of opposite sides and an opening between the opposite sides. The clamp has a pair of clamp jaws each having a first projecting portion, the support member and the parallel walls extending between the first projecting portions of the jaws, and a second projecting portion, the second portions extending into the opening between the opposite sides of the U-shaped cross-section.

  • Patent number: 7165361
Abstract: An adjustable building construction shore has an inner tubular member extending internally of an outer tubular member and displaceable longitudinally of the outer tubular member, the inner and outer members having projecting and recessed longitudinal portions slidably interengaged and preventing relative rotation of the inner and outer tubular members. Openings extending transversely through the inner and outer tubular members are spaced apart longitudinally of the inner and outer tubular members, and retainer members extend through the openings for securing the inner and outer tubular members against relative longitudinal movement. A screw jack supports a lower end of the shore.

  • Publication number: 20060042179
Abstract: A slab formwork system for casting ceilings has panel support beams underlying and supporting formwork panels; and shores supporting the panel support beams. The panel support beams have upwardly facing top surfaces with upwardly open, longitudinally extending recesses and resiliently deformable strips of elastomeric material extending along the recesses. The formwork panels having marginal edge undersurface portions mounted on the panel support surfaces and downwardly protruding panel retainer projections embedded in the resiliently deformable strips. The formwork panels each have a pair of parallel, elongate intermediate members extending between and interconnecting parallel elongate side members and a sheet of material supported on the side and intermediate members, and the side members have undersides formed with a longitudinally extending, downwardly open recesses.

  • Publication number: 20040056493
Abstract: A lifting device for suspending a flying form table truss has a horizontal lower truss arm for insertion into the flying truss, a horizontal upper truss arm extending above and parallel to the lower truss arm, an intermediate vertical section connecting one end of the upper truss arm to one end of the lower truss arm, and a trolley, provided with a crane hook connector, on a trolley track extending along the top of the upper truss arm. By adjusting the position of the trolley along the upper truss arm, the crane hook connector can be located above the centre of gravity of the flying form table truss.
