  • Publication number: 20240081406
Abstract: A non-combustible aerosol provision device for generating an aerosol from an aerosol-generating material is provided. The device includes a chamber for receiving a consumable including aerosol-generating material to enable the non-combustible aerosol provision device to generate an aerosol from the aerosol-generating material. The device further includes an adjustment mechanism to allow a user to adjust a dimension of the chamber to allow the chamber to accommodate, one at a time, each of a plurality of consumables having different sizes.

  • Publication number: 20080217054
Abstract: A wall box device comprising a clip extending from an elongated body, for use with non metallic electrical wall boxes. The metal clip is capable of providing an attachment point for the yoke of electrical devices. The clips are secured in place (without adhesives) by a plurality of barbs extending outwardly and downward there-from. The barbs allow easy insertion of the clip onto the box, while preventing withdrawal or removal. The attachment point can include a new threaded opening to receive a machine screw, the new threaded opening taking the place of the original worn/damaged threaded opening/hub of the plastic electrical wall box. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure.

  • Patent number: 5882170
Abstract: A watercraft loading and launching apparatus for a pickup truck having a trailer hitch receiver. The apparatus has an elongated receiver bar with one end adapted to fit a trailer hitch receiver and a cross member support bar secured to the other end. The cross member support bar may be straight or angled for supporting watercraft having a V-bottom, a semi-V bottom, a flat bottom, or equipped with pontoons. There is disclosed a second embodiment wherein the cross member support bar has hinged extensions for allowing use with both V-bottomed and flat-bottomed watercraft. The apparatus may also include a cradle assembly for supporting the watercraft within the cargo bed of the pickup truck.

  • Patent number: 5483164
Abstract: Water quality sensor apparatus comprising a substrate on which a plurality of sensors are supported in spaced apart relationship, each sensor being responsive to a different water characteristic and each sensor comprising a sensor region which, in use, is arranged to be contiguous with water the characteristics of which are to be sensed, which sensor regions are electrically connected to connector means via conductors supported on the substrate, the conductors and the connector means being arranged to be non-contiguous with the water in use of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4093110
Abstract: A chamber is formed on a powder-actuated tool into which the combustion gases generated by firing the tool are directed. The chamber contains a plurality of baffle plates which absorb noise and provide increased surface area for precipitation of fouling deposits carried by the combustion gases. The plates are easily removable for cleaning. The chamber is formed in a box-like housing which can be secured to a conventional indirect firing tool with minimal adaptation necessary.
