Abstract: A method for the switchover of a mobile terminal device from a first radio network of a mobile radio system to a second radio network is described. The switchover is carried out on the basis of a CS fallback mechanism, and whereby, on the basis of the switchover, the mobile terminal device logs on to a base station of the second radio network in order to establish a connection. In conjunction with the log-on, the mobile terminal device transmits a notification pertaining to the CS fallback mechanism to the base station, and the base station registers the log-on of the terminal device as a function of the notification. Moreover, a base station and to a mobile terminal device for carrying out the method are also described herein.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile terminal of a communication network for communication via circuit-switched (CS) domain and packet-switched (PS) domain of the communication network. The mobile terminal is characterized in that at least one information element (IE) is provided on the mobile terminal (UE), which comprises instructions on usage of Mobile Originating circuit-switched (MO-CS) services in case of unavailability of the packet-switched (PS) network. In addition, the invention discloses a method of handling communication from a mobile terminal (UE) in a communication network for communication via circuit-switched (CS) domain and packet-switched (PS) domain of the communication network.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of improving mobile terminating call handling in a change of a receiving mobile terminal (UE) from a first network to a second network, wherein the change is carried out as circuit switched fallback (CSFB) from the first network not providing circuit switched (CS) domain services to the second network providing circuit switched (CS) domain services. The method is characterized in that the Mobile Switching Centre/Visitor Location Register (MSC/VLR) of the second network supervises completion of the circuit switched fallback (CSFB) internetwork change to the second network.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method for heating a product stream, in particular a basic material for the beverage industry, and especially a milk drink or a mixed milk drink. Due to the fact that, in a heating module, a treatment channel is formed between alternating current electrodes in such a way that the product flows from the first electrode to the second electrode substantially in a main flow direction, the electrode spacing and the cross-section of the treatment channel can be dimensioned largely independently from one another and the energy input in the product as well as the flow behavior of the product can be optimized. This promotes uniform heating of the product and helps to avoid undesirable depositions in the treatment channel.

Abstract: There is provided a method that relates to the setting up and/or maintaining of a connection between a machine-to-machine (M2M) device and a mobile communication network. In order to be able to adapt the connection management to the requirements of the M2M device, the M2M device may transmit an indication that it is an M2M device to the mobile communication network. At least one network node of the mobile communication network controls the setting up and/or the maintaining of the connection based on the indication. The network node may route a request for setting up the connection to a further network node based on the indication.
