  • Publication number: 20230083620
Abstract: An air spring strut assembly includes a top cap with a metal flange overmolded within a plastic overmold housing. The metal flange carries structural loads through the top cap and the plastic overmold housing includes non-load bearing complex shapes ands surfaces. A shock absorber and bellows are attached to the top cap to complete the air spring strut assembly.

  • Patent number: 10619751
Abstract: An exhaust gas control valve for regulating a flow of exhaust gas includes a housing having an interior wall defining a housing interior, a yoke disposed in the housing interior and having a length and an axis extending along the length, with the yoke being moveable between a first and second yoke position. The exhaust gas control valve further includes a valve member including a valve shaft and a valve body. The valve member is moveable between a first valve position and a second valve position. The exhaust gas control valve also includes a retainer coupled to the yoke, and a biasing member disposed in the housing interior and coupled to the yoke and the retainer to bias the yoke and the retainer in opposite directions, with the biasing member being configured to prevent free play of the yoke and the valve member with respect to said housing.

  • Publication number: 20180224001
Abstract: A valve assembly includes a valve housing with a bore, a rotatable valve shaft coupled to the valve housing, a valve plate rotatable with the rotatable shaft, the valve plate being in a valve closed position at an angle greater or less than zero degrees, the valve plate including a first surface facing an inlet, a second surface facing an outlet, a first circumferential surface between the first surface and the second surface, and a second circumferential surface extending from at least one of the first surface or the second surface in a direction toward a reference axis and terminating at the first circumferential surface, the valve plate being in the valve closed position, the second circumferential surface defines a gap between the surface of the bore for avoiding contact with the surface of the bore, and the first circumferential surface and the second circumferential surface define a surface spaced therebetween to make contact with the surface of the bore that inhibits seizing of the valve plate with the

  • Patent number: 10041420
Abstract: A valve assembly includes a valve housing defining a bore with a first axis extending along a length of the bore, and a valve shaft partially disposed within the bore along a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis. The valve assembly additionally includes a valve plate coupled to the valve shaft and disposed within the bore, and a restricting device including a stop member and an engagement member. The stop member extends from the valve housing and presents a stop surface. The engagement member extends from the valve shaft and presents an engagement surface. At least one of the stop surface and the engagement surface is non-parallel with the second axis. The at least one non-parallel surface engages the other of the stop member and the engagement member and biases the valve shaft axially along the second axis.
