  • Patent number: 11985705
Abstract: A computer-executed method is provided for IEEE 802.15.4 devices based on an active carrier sense based carrier-sense multiple access with collision avoidance (ACS-CSMA/CA) control program and standard CSMA/CA control program for coexistence of an IEEE 802.15.4 network composing of IEEE 802.15.4 devices and IEEE 802.11 network composing of IEEE 802.11 devices sharing frequency spectra between the networks. The computer-executed method is provided on an IEEE 802.15.4 device, and causes a processor of the IEEE 802.15.4 device to perform steps that include estimating a severity of IEEE 802.11 interference based on a severity estimation metric, selecting the ACS-CSMA/CA control program based on the estimated severity.

  • Publication number: 20240119052
Abstract: The disclosure is directed towards automatically tuning quantization-based approximate nearest neighbors (ANN) search methods and systems (e.g., search engines) to perform at the speed-recall pareto frontier. With a desired search cost or recall as input, the embodiments employ Lagrangian-based methods to perform constrained optimization on theoretically-grounded search cost and recall models. The resulting tunings, when paired with the efficient quantization-based ANN implementation of the embodiments, exhibit excellent performance on standard benchmarks while requiring minimal tuning or configuration complexity.

  • Publication number: 20240121233
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to systems and methods for automatic sign in upon account signup. Particularly, the present embodiments can utilize a federated login approach for automatic sign in upon account signup for a cloud infrastructure. Specifically, the signup and sign in service (also known as SOUP) and an identity provider portal can be configured such that the nodes are aware of each other as Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) partners. After new account registration, the signup service can redirect the user browser to a cloud infrastructure console to start with a federated login flow, where a sign in service can issue a SAML authentication request, and redirects it to signup service. Responsive to validating the browser using a SAML authentication process, the browser can be automatically signed into the new account and allowed access the account relating to the cloud infrastructure service.

  • Patent number: 11946140
Abstract: Exemplary substrate processing systems may include a chamber body defining a transfer region. The systems may include a first lid plate seated on the chamber body. The first lid plate may define a plurality of apertures through the first lid plate. The systems may include a plurality of lid stacks equal to a number of the plurality of apertures. The systems may define a plurality of isolators. An isolator may be positioned between each lid stack and a corresponding aperture of the plurality of apertures. The systems may include a plurality of annular spacers. An annular spacer of the plurality of annular spacers may be positioned between each isolator and a corresponding lid stack of the plurality of lids stacks. The systems may include a plurality of manifolds. A manifold may be seated within an interior of each annular spacer of the plurality of annular spacers.

  • Publication number: 20240074657
Abstract: The subject invention pertains to a novel angle-closure detection method for risk assessment of primary angle closure (PAC) or primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) to inform treatment decisions. According to certain embodiments, a plurality of cross-sectional images of the anterior segment of an eye centered at the pupil with preferably even radial separations are obtained from optical coherence tomography imaging. After identifying the position of scleral spur from the cross-sectional image captured at each angle-location, the anterior chamber angles are analyzed. Each angle-location of the eye is classified as (i) closed angle, (ii) narrow angle, or (iii) open angle. The extents of narrow angles and closed angles among all angle-locations across the 360° radial space are computed. Based on the extents of narrow angles and closed angles, a regression model is applied to compute the risk of PAC/PACG development.

  • Patent number: 8661615
Abstract: A pintle assembly for use in conjunction with a caster wheel assembly. The pintle assembly includes an inner tube and sleeve that is overmolded to and round the inner tube. The inner tube may include grooves to aid in securing sleeve. The sleeve includes a tapered annular channel near the top portion of the pintle, such that a slide ring may be inserted into the tapered annular channel to secure the pintle assembly into a mounting tube through frictional engagement of the slip ring with both the over-molded sleeve and the mounting tube.

  • Patent number: 6631220
Abstract: An improved optical isolator having a pre-aligned first and second collimator and a pre-aligned core assembly joined with the first collimator, the first and second collimators and core assembly all disposed within a housing tube. The core assembly is aligned with and joined directly to the first collimator and fits snugly within the housing tube. The second collimator fits within the housing tube such that it can be aligned with core assembly to minimize insertion loss. The first and second collimators are connected to the housing tube by solder joints, at least one of which is made from a low temperature solder. The core assembly includes a cylindrical permanent magnet, a pair of birefringent wedges and an optical rotator. The optical rotator is joined to a wedge on either side and the combined structure is affixed to the cylindrical permanent magnet.
