    Abstract: A washing apparatus has a housing comprising a spray element such that in use, fluid is forced through at least one aperture creating a substantially elongate spray onto at least one roller wheel or roller sleeve substantially causing the roller wheel to spin and be washed or cleaned. A method of washing a roller in a washing apparatus is also disclosed. The apparatus includes a housing comprising a spray element such that in use, fluid is forced through at least one aperture creating a substantially elongate spray onto at least one roller wheel or roller sleeve substantially causing the roller wheel to spin and be washed or cleaned wherein the following steps include: inserting roller therein by opening the apparatus or sliding the roller therein; connecting the apparatus to a fluid supply element such as a faucet or hose; and initiating fluid flow to wash or clean the roller.
