  • Patent number: 11147203
Abstract: A middle mounted implement tractor utilizes a movable frame design in order to provide for middle mounting of implements on a tractor that can drive up to the implement, raise its front portion in the air, drive forward over the implement, and then lower the front portion to the ground and attach the middle mounted implement. This is accomplished utilizing a front frame assembly pivotably connected to a mounting frame assembly which mounts the implement; a frame mover mechanism that lifts the front frame and mounting frame; a middle frame which connects the cab, frame mover mechanism and related components; and a rear frame which attaches rear wheels, caster wheels, engine, etc. The front wheels can turn one hundred and eighty degrees and the tractor can easily interchange consumables via a carriage system that allows simple loading and unloading of tanks, etc.

  • Patent number: 7970598
Abstract: The present invention allows subscribers to an online information service to participate in real-time conferencing or chat sessions in which a message originating from a subscriber in accordance with a first language is translated to one or more languages before it is broadcast to the other conference areas. Messages in a first language are translated automatically to one or more other languages through language translation capabilities resident at online information service host computers. Access software that subscribers use for participating in conference is integrated with speech recognition and speech generation software such that a subscriber may speak the message he or she would like to share with other participants and may hear the messages from the other participants in the conference. Speech-to-speech translation may be accomplished as a message spoken into a computer microphone in accordance with a first language may be recited by a remote computer in accordance with a second language.

  • Patent number: 7130790
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for translating closed caption data from a source language to a target language during a broadcast. The system and method are fully automated to provide accurate and timely translations of closed caption data. The system and method include a text flow management process and a pre-editing process that may be used in conjunction with any machine translation system. The text flow management process facilitates the input of closed caption data in a source language from a program source to the output of closed caption data in a target language to a program destination. The pre-editing process improves the quality of translation performed by machine translation software by addressing various problems associated with real-time translation of closed caption data.

  • Publication number: 20040213158
Abstract: A real-time transaction processing system includes a leaky bucket and a flow controller for monitoring the response time of each real-time transaction, for comparing the response time with a predetermined response time, and for incrementing the contents of the leaky bucket when the response time exceeds the predetermined response time. The real-time transaction processing system may reject transactions in proportion to the contents of the leaky bucket. Further, there is a method of operating the real-time transaction processing system by monitoring the response time of each real-time transaction; comparing the response time with a predetermined response time; and incrementing the contents of the leaky bucket when the response time exceeds the predetermined response time.

  • Patent number: 6622161
Abstract: The present invention relates to a means, system and method for controlling the storage space required by a storage means which contains information items associated with an information transfer application. The information transfer application is typically an email application 10 which allows a user to send or receive information items such as electronic mail, electronic documents, electronic files and the like, and stores the items in a mail database or mail file 23 which utilises the storage means. The application 10 includes a transfer control means 20 which is activated whenever a user attempts to access a received item 50 or create a new item 32 for sending. Once activated, the transfer control means 20 compares 35 the storage space required by the storage means to store the items contained in the database 23 with a first set level and prevents further transmission of information items if the required storage space exceeds 37 a first set level.

  • Patent number: 5318134
Abstract: An irrigation furrow and raised seed bed forming machine includes a main support frame, a hitch assembly, furrow and seed bed forming shovel assemblies, a seed bed mulching assembly, seed bed conditioning roller assemblies, and furrow side finishing slide assemblies. These assemblies of the furrow and bed forming machine are operable and cooperate to form irrigation furrows and raised seed beds in soil as the machine, being mounted to a tractor, is moved through a field. The hitch assembly is adapted for mounting the main support frame to the tractor to extend transversely to the direction of movement of the machine. The shovel assemblies are mounted to a forward portion of the main support frame in laterally spaced relation to one another. The mulching assembly is mounted at a middle portion of the main support frame rearwardly of the shovel assemblies and has an elongated rotatable mulching member extending transversely to the direction of movement of the machine through the field.
