    Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for authenticating and publishing reviews of service providers. In particular, a third-party website receives information from a reviewer pertaining to a prior purchase and receipt of services from a service provider by the reviewer, and queries a database of the service provider to confirm that the information corresponds to a prior purchase in the database. If the information provided by the reviewer matches the service provider database, the review is accepted and posted online. If the information provided by the reviewer does not match the service provider database, the review is rejected and not published.
