  • Publication number: 20240017747
Abstract: A method for generating a simulation scenario includes: receiving raw data, wherein the raw data comprises a plurality of successive LIDAR point clouds, a plurality of successive camera images, and successive velocity and/or acceleration data; merging the plurality of LIDAR point clouds from a determined region into a common coordinate system to produce a composite point cloud; locating and classifying one or more static objects within the composite point cloud; generating road information based on the composite point cloud, one or more static objects and at least one camera image; locating and classifying one or more dynamic road users within the plurality of successive LIDAR point clouds and generating trajectories for the one or more dynamic road users; creating a simulation scenario based on the one or more static objects, the road information, and the generated trajectories for the one or more dynamic road users; and exporting the simulation scenario.

  • Patent number: 11840294
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a regulating device for regulating the steering angle for a vehicle, comprising a first controller unit with a controller superposed thereon, the controller having a feedback path and a prefilter. The feedback path provides a first adjustment variable based on actual steering angle information which is provided by the first controller unit as an output variable and the prefilter provides a second adjustment variable based on nominal steering angle information. The controller is configured to form input information for the first controller unit based on the first and the second adjustment variables, wherein the feedback path has a first correction element, the transfer behavior of which can be adjusted. The prefilter has a second correction element, the transfer behavior of which can be adjusted. The controller is configured such that at least the controller gain of the first controller unit can be adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20230139711
Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle along a trajectory, in which the vehicle has a control device which plans the trajectory within a definable search space of the trajectory and can access actuators of the vehicle in order to control the vehicle , wherein at least one limit value is determined for at least one manipulated variable of an actuator and a search space of the manipulated variable is defined on the basis of the at least one limit value, wherein the search space is used to plan the trajectory.

  • Publication number: 20220281518
Abstract: A railborne driver assistance device for supporting or automating the lateral control of a vehicle includes a first processing unit configured to control a steering torque intervention by establishing a steering angle with a stationary control accuracy of an electrically supported steering system. A second processing unit is configured to adjust the stationary control accuracy of the steering angle via the output of an accuracy request signal to the first processing unit in such a way that there is a scaling of the control accuracy between a lower and an upper threshold value. The second processing unit includes a control unit having an integrator with an input and an output, wherein the output of the integrator is connected to the input in a closed-loop manner with a weighting dependent on the accuracy request signal.

  • Publication number: 20220250678
Abstract: A regulating device for regulating the steering angle of a vehicle includes a first controller unit having at least one integrating component and configured to receive a control difference between first steering angle information, which is deduced from nominal steering angle information, and an actual steering angle. The first controller unit provides actuation information for a motor operating the steering. A compensation control circuit superposed on the first controller unit is provided. The compensation control circuit has a feedback path receives actuation information of the motor, the output torque of the motor, and/or information dependent on the output torque of the motor as the input variable and, based on the input variable, provides steering angle compensation information.
