Abstract: An ultrasonic transducer having a piezoelectric element for use on a vehicle is disclosed. The transducer has a control and evaluation circuit for generating a control voltage for the piezoelectric element, which generates and emits an ultrasonic signal based on the control voltage, and for outputting an output signal on the basis of an echo signal received at the piezoelectric element. A gyrator circuit is included for providing a compensation inductance for adapting the control and evaluation circuit, for compensating for a parasitic connection capacitance of the piezoelectric element. The gyrator circuit has a variable compensation inductance. A method for compensating for an ultrasonic transducer having a piezoelectric element for adapting a reception sensitivity is also disclosed.

The device has a clip-like structure, and may be preferably provided with retaining ribs to resist undesired slippage of the device off an edge of the textile article with which it is used.

Abstract: A hand tool for dentistry and/or dental prosthetics, having a grip part which defines a main axis and, in the direction of the main axis, has a front end area and a read end area. The grip part has, in the front end area, an open receiving recess in which the collet element is arranged with an adjustable receiving diameter for receiving an object. The receiving diameter of the collet element can be modified by way of an actuating device. The collet element can be secured against rotation in the grip part.

Abstract: A deposition system is provided which is adapted for depositing a thin film onto a substrate. The deposition system includes a substrate carrier adapted for carrying the substrate and at least one tilted evaporator crucible. The at least one tilted evaporator crucible is adapted for directing evaporated deposition material towards the substrate in a main emission direction. The main direction emission of the tilted evaporator crucible is different from a direction normal to the substrate.
