  • Patent number: 11648925
Abstract: Methods and corresponding control devices for releasing an electric actuator in a reliable manner, such as an electric parking brake in particular, in a motor vehicle brake system. The aim of the invention is to provide an improved function and architecture which helps prevent the disadvantages of open-loop control systems when using a rationalized sensor system, thereby obviating closed-loop control systems. This is achieved by a release method and a corresponding electronic control unit which obtains an especially modulated change in the power requirement during the release process upon impacting the quasi-elastic release end stop of the electric actuating unit such that the change is fed back, the change being detected in order to be used as information for a power interruption or a termination of the power supply to the electric actuating unit.

  • Patent number: 10654460
Abstract: A novel, particularly rationally designed, modular parking brake actuator for an electric drum brake system. An axle A1 from the motor, including a screw gear pinion coupled in a rotationally fixed manner, and an axle of the spindle arrangement, including a screw gear which is coupled in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive nut, define under a deflection of 90° a single wheel gearbox stage of the parking brake actuator.

  • Patent number: 10197108
Abstract: The invention relates to a spring element (4) for a friction device comprising a spring element body (10) having a first spring element body part (11) and a second spring element body part (12) arranged behind it in the axial direction, which rest on each other in some areas, and each spring element body part (11, 12) has receiving areas (15) arranged beside one another in a circumferential direction (13) for friction linings (2, 3) that can be fixed to both sides, and the first spring element body part (11) and the second spring element body part (12) are formed in a ring shape and a first and second receiving tab (19, 20) are formed for each receiving area (15) for the friction linings (2, 3), and the first receiving tab (19) is arranged underneath the second receiving tab (20) in the radial direction, and the first receiving tab (19) and the second receiving tab (20) of each receiving area (15) for the friction linings (2, 3) of the first spring element body part (11) are formed by the latter and the first

  • Patent number: 9648298
Abstract: A higher compression rate or better rate/distortion ratio is achieved by adopting or predicting second coding parameters used for encoding a second view of the multi-view signal from first coding parameters used in encoding a first view of the multi-view signal. The redundancies between views of a multi-view signal were found to be not restricted to the views themselves, such as the video information thereof. Rather, the coding parameters in parallely encoding these views show similarities which may be exploited in order to further improve the coding rate.
