  • Patent number: 9238994
Abstract: A device for cooling the heat engine, electrical components, and an electrical energy storage device including: a first circuit, a second circuit, and a third circuit for cooling each of the heat engine, the electrical components, and the electrical energy storage device, respectively; a heat exchange device separated into three members, including a high temperature member connected to the first circuit, a low temperature member connected to the second circuit, and a very low temperature member connected to the third circuit; an upstream valve connected between the first and the third circuit located upstream of the high temperature member of the heat exchanger in the first circuit; and, a downstream valve connected between the first circuit and the third circuit located downstream of the high temperature member of the heat exchanger in the first circuit, where the downstream valve is a thermostatic valve which is actuated as a function of the temperature of the heat transfer fluid in the first circuit and wh

  • Patent number: 8505319
Abstract: The invention relates to an absorption air conditioner that comprises a desorber (100), a condenser, an evaporator and an absorber, wherein the absorbing fluid may consist of lithium bromide. The method comprises the following steps: calculating the concentration of the absorbing fluid solution at the outlet of the desorber (100); and comparing the calculated concentration with a predetermined critical value and, if the calculated concentration gets closer to the predetermined critical value, increasing the charge loss in the duct (20) connecting the desorber (100) to the condenser, which interrupts the condensation in the condenser and results in a pressure increase in the desorber that stops the desorption and in a concentration increase, the charge loss being on the other hand reduced for resuming the desorption when the calculated concentration deviates from the predetermined critical value. The invention can be used in automobiles and absorption air-conditioners.

  • Publication number: 20120199313
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for cooling the heat engine (10), electrical components (26, 14, 28), and an electrical power storage means (18) of a hybrid vehicle, said device including a first circuit (60, HT) for cooling the heat engine, a second circuit (BT) for cooling the electrical components, and a third circuit (78, TBT) for cooling the electrical power storage means, a heat transfer fluid being capable of flowing inside said circuits, comprising heat exchdange means (46, 48, 52). According to the invention, the heat exchange means consist of a heat exchanger (88) that is separated into three portions, and the device comprises a means for placing the first circuit in communication with the third circuit, the means being actuated on the basis of the temperature of the heat transfer fluid and on the basis of the flow of the heat transfer fluid inside the first circuit. The invention also relates to radiator for a hybrid vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7154852
Abstract: Devices, softwares and methods dynamically allocate bandwidth in ATM SVC connections. If there is an increase in the rate of demand, additional switched virtual circuits are opened for adding bandwidth. If demand decreases, some of the additional switched virtual circuits may be closed. A single pipe need be established for a number of these switched virtual circuits, to not affect operation of the upper network layers.
