    Abstract: A metal bridge includes at least two longitudinal girders connected by a plurality of transversal spacers and on which rests a platform. Each longitudinal girder is built by butt-jointing a number of prefabricated metal elements in the form of tubular hollow coffers of polygonal transversal section, each extending over a length compatible with transport and lifting devices. At least certain coffers of two neighboring girders are connected in twos by a plurality of spacers, each composed of a metal tube.
