  • Patent number: 11815233
Abstract: An optical device including a support mounted on a rotational-drive motor, and a reflective optical component, the support including at least one sleeve coaxial with the rotational-drive axis, of which sleeve one end defines an inlet orifice and which sleeve in its wall includes an opening defining an outlet orifice, and inside which sleeve the reflective optical component is housed in such a way that a beam of light entering via the inlet orifice is reflected by the reflective optical component to exit via the outlet orifice. An optical component mounted and retained in the sleeve as a result of cooperation of shape between it and the wall of said sleeve is also discussed.

  • Publication number: 20230175672
Abstract: A light unit configured to emit at least one wide-aperture light beam including a transmitter system, configured to emit at least one light beam, the beam(s) being emitted in an angular range of 360° around the transmitter system; a reflector system surrounding the transmitter system, arranged to receive each light beam propagating from the transmitter system and to reflect each light beam received towards the outside of the light unit. The reflector system includes a frame surrounding the transmitter system and bearing a reflecting surface extending around the transmitter system between two opposite edges of the frame, the reflector system and/or the transmitter system are mounted such that they can be moved relative to one another and such that they can be positioned relative to one another so as to modify the interception area of the beam emitted by the transmitter system along the reflecting surface of the reflector system.

  • Publication number: 20090034279
Abstract: A headlight for a motor vehicle equipped with an optical module comprising a support carrying a light source and an optical system for emitting a light beam, the optical module being mounted so as to be able to move on the headlight about a pivot axis by means of mobility means that associate means of pivotal mounting of the support on a chassis of the headlight using an actuator in relationship with at least one drive member in engagement on the support. The means of pivotal mounting of the support comprise a single articulation bearing: situated below and supporting the optical module, taking up the forces, in particular axial and radial, due to the optical module and thus separating the drive member or members of the force chains.

  • Patent number: 7452116
Abstract: A lighting/signaling device for a motor vehicle having a source arranged in a reflector which produces a light beam that is transmitted from the reflector along an essentially horizontal optical axis of the headlamp device. A movable flap is coupled to a first motor pivoting the movable flap between at least two positions. A casing which coupled to a second motor can be rotated, with respect to a fixed frame, along an axis which is essentially vertical and essentially perpendicular to the optical axis. The casing also includes at least one compartment for receiving and holding the first motor and the second motor.

  • Publication number: 20050237759
Abstract: The invention relates to a lighting/signaling device for a motor vehicle, in particular of the headlamp type, comprising in particular: a light source arranged in a reflector which produces a light beam which is transmitted, at an outlet face of the reflector, in particular along an essentially horizontal optical axis of the headlamp device; a movable flap of the pivoting type which by means of a first motor can be moved between at least two positions. Said device comprises a casing which by means of a second motor can be moved in rotation with respect to a fixed frame of said headlamp device, along an axis which is essentially vertical and essentially perpendicular to the optical axis, said casing comprising at least one compartment for receiving and holding on the one hand the first motor and on the other hand the second motor.

  • Patent number: 6012829
Abstract: A device for correcting the orientation of a motor vehicle headlight beam has a casing containing an electric motor, a rotatable output shaft and a speed reducer working between the motor shaft and the output shaft of the device, for the purpose of making running adjustments to the beam orientation. The device also includes a manual adjusting knob which is rotatable in the casing, with a selective transmission means between the manual knob and the output shaft, for putting the latter into a reference position when the knob is rotated. The speed reducing motor drive is coupled to the output shaft through a dog clutch which is disengaged, to convert the device from electrical to manual operation, by axial declutching movement of the manual knob.
