  • Patent number: 10281065
Abstract: This flexible fluid transport pipe includes an inner polymer sheath defining a fluid circulation passage with a central axis; at least one armor layer positioned outside the inner sheath; an inner carcass, positioned in the inner sheath, the inner carcass comprising a first bent tape defining a helical interstice emerging toward the central axis. The pipe includes a helical insert with a T-shaped cross-section comprising a rod inserted in the helical interstice and two wings protruding on either side of the rod to inwardly close off the helical interstice. The helical insert is formed from a second bent tape.

  • Patent number: 8100150
Abstract: A flexible duct with a frame made by winding a S-profiled metal strip into clamped turns, wherein the edges of two adjacent turns overlap each other in order to form between them a helical closed space having an essentially rectangular cross-section and at least partially filled by a helically-wound spacer separate from the metal strip and resting on at least two opposing walls of the lower surface and the upper surface, wherein the spacer has, in the winding radial direction, a crush resistance substantially equal to zero and, in the winding longitudinal direction along the pipe, a substantial crush resistance.

  • Patent number: 6220303
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for limiting the bending radius of a flexible duct comprising at least a bend stiffener arranged around one length of the flexible duct and fixed by a rear part on a fixed end support, characterized in that it further comprises an element for maintaining the bend stiffener arranged between the flexible duct and the bend stiffener and comprising at least a portion capable of flexural bending extending over one length of the flexible duct located at least between the rear part and the end of the bend stiffener.

  • Patent number: 6019137
Abstract: The invention relates to a flexible pipe including a hose for carrying hydrocarbons and a connection endpiece at the end of the hose. The hose has an inner carcass, a sacrificial sublayer, and a sealing barrier. The endpiece has a tubular body in which the inner carcass, the sacrificial sublayer, and the sealing barrier are inserted. A sealing bush is crimped onto the sealing barrier. The endpiece includes a retaining ring secured to the inner carcass. A lock advantageously opposes axial displacement of the retaining ring in the direction for dissembling the hose from the endpiece.
