  • Publication number: 20150037636
Abstract: A battery pack comprises: a body; a latching mechanism positioned at an upper corner of the body and configured to be placed in an extended position to grasp a portion of an upper edge of the battery well when the battery pack is positioned within the battery well and a depressed position to allow removal of the battery pack from the battery well. The battery pack is inserted into the battery well by orienting the bottom side of the body with a bottom edge of the battery well and rotating the battery pack into the battery well such that the latching mechanism engages the portion of the upper edge of the battery well to move the latching mechanism to the depressed position and continued rotation of the battery pack allows the latching mechanism to return to the extended position to grasp the portion of the upper edge of the battery well.
