    Abstract: The invention provides a vapor dispersing device having a frangible ampoule containing a volatizable material and a jacket around the ampoule for transferring the volatizable material to an evaporative pad. The jacket may include an extension serving as a wick between the ampoule and the evaporative pad. A portion of the device housing is movable to rupture the ampoule to initiate the transfer of the volatizable material.
