    Abstract: The invention is concerned with silicone-based skin care products which are applied to the skin as aerosols and form a clear gel on the skin. The skin care products comprise 20-70% w/w of a silicone based water-in-oil microemulsion and 30-80% w/w of a volatile diluent. Preferably the microemulsion has a viscosity of between 1000 and 10,000 mPas.
