  • Patent number: 8540264
Abstract: A four wheel stepper bike having a body with an internal chamber containing a drive mechanism for transmitting power to a wheel, a steering linkage, and a brake. Foot pedal units on opposite side of the body are moved by an operator's feet to apply force to the drive mechanism. A steering column with handles hinged to the body and connected to the steering linkage is selectively movable to steer the bike and move between upright and folded positions. Bumpers attached to an end of the body support the bike in an upright position on a support surface when the steering column is in the folded position.

  • Patent number: 7347658
Abstract: A wheelchair lift and lateral transport apparatus has a lift assembly operable to elevate a platform supporting a wheelchair from a first ground position to a second elevated position adjacent a side of a motor vehicle. A headrest is mounted on the upper end of the lift assembly. A lateral transport assembly mounted on the vehicle floor and secured to the lift assembly operates to move the lift assembly and wheelchair on the platform from the second position to a third position. The lift assembly lowers the platform from the third position onto anchor pins secured to the floor of the vehicle to locate the person in the wheelchair in the vehicle driver's position.
