  • Patent number: 6164370
Abstract: A heat exchange tube for air conditioning and refrigeration applications is internally enhanced with helically arranged fins. The fins are separated from adjacent fins by a trough. The heat transfer coefficient is increased by forming the fins with a height-to-trough width ratio, h:T, of from 1.3:1 to 2.5:1. A further gain in heat transfer coefficient is achieved by fins having a normalized height (fin height/tube inside diameter) of at least 0.02.

  • Patent number: 5273177
Abstract: A press-to-open dispensing closure with a flexible arcual top surface(22) in convex orientation is provided which includes a flexible, aperture cover(26) having an arcuate hinging connection to the top surface. The hinging connection of the appeture cover articulates between a convexly arcuate closed condition and a concavely arcuate open position.

  • Patent number: 5044529
Abstract: A unitary liquid dispensing cap with integral actuator and valve assemblies is provided which includes a centrally located bellows to provide a restoring force to drive the valve back to the closed position after dispensing the liquid. A guide is provided for the valve and includes projections which cooperate with mating projections on the valve assembly to control movement of the valve. The valve assembly may be cocked to provide positive sealing of the dispensing passage by the valve.
