  • Publication number: 20240167281
Abstract: An interior wall is provided, including a frame including at least one footer, at least one header, at least one vertical frame member connecting at least one of the at least one footer to at least one of the at least one header, the frame having a first side and a second side, and defining an interior frame space. A first wallboard panel is fastened to the first side of the frame. At least one gypsum wallboard stud is secured in the interior frame space, being fastened to the first wallboard panel and being dimensioned to extend from the first side to the second side. A second wallboard panel is fastened to the second side of the frame and to the at least one gypsum wallboard stud for creating a continuous acoustic connection between the first wallboard panel and the second wallboard panel.

  • Publication number: 20240150159
Abstract: A robotic vehicle, such as an autonomous mobile robot (AMR), is provided, comprising a chassis, a navigation system, and a load engagement portion, a plurality of sensors, including an object detection sensor, and a load interaction system. The AMR is configured to perform a load drop and a load pickup within a zone without using predetermined load pick up and drop off locations within the zone. The AMR can determine where to place a load within the zone based on proximity to another object or physical structure within the zone. A location of the zone on the AMR's route can be trained, but pickup and drop locations within the zone can be untrained and undefined in advance.

  • Patent number: 10907337
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices for protecting flooring beneath a toilet having a toilet base set over a drain pipe in the flooring, including a device and system having a tray defining a hole configured to be positioned over the drain pipe, the tray having an outside perimeter edge surrounding the hole and defining a field which extends outward from the toilet base when the toilet is positioned upon the tray, and a liquid retainer configured for placement upon the field and having a first end portion to abut a first external area of the toilet base and a second end portion to abut a second external area of the toilet base. The tray may be cut with a scissors to universally match a variety of toilet bases and is of low profile to be undetectable or nearly undetectable (concealed) to a normal casual viewer. The field is configured to receive stray liquid from the toilet crossing a seep line while a side edge perimeter of the toilet is sealed.

  • Patent number: 5511596
Abstract: A rotor link attached to a debarking cylinder. An open link is attached to the rotor link and a chain is attached to the open link. The open link must be rotated forward in the direction of rotation of the debarking cylinder so that a flat area of the rotor link is presented adjacent the open area of the open link. This makes it less likely that the link will be disengaged by random movement of the chain during a debarking operation. Thus, individual chains can be removed without removal of the attachment rod and all the chains on the cylinder. A second chain may be attached to the open link through a similar series of translational and rotational movements.

  • Patent number: 5419379
Abstract: A debarking chain including a closed chain link attached to an open link by a series of translational and rotational movements. A second chain added in a similar fashion with the first chain locking the second chain in place.

  • Patent number: 5343912
Abstract: The debarking chain includes a quick disconnect for attaching the debarking chain to a drum. A connecting link is releasably attached to the drum. A chain comprised of closed links is attached to the drum via the connecting link by an open link which connects the connecting link to the end closed link on the chain. The open link includes an opening for receiving a reduced cross-section of one side of the end closed link. A terminal end is formed on the open link by the opening which will prohibit the end closed link from passing over the terminal end until the end closed link is rotated such that the length of its interior aperture is aligned with the longer dimension of the terminal end of the open link. Upon such alignment, the terminal end will pass through the aperture of the end closed link to connect the chain to the drum.

  • Patent number: 4711280
Abstract: A method and apparatus for delimbing a plurality of elongated tree stems includes at least a pair of vertically mounted, longitudinally offset flail members with flexible impact members mounted on rotatable drums. The drums rotate in the direction of stem flow through the flailing station and limbs and other debris can be collected within a defined area. A housing is structured to define a feed slot through the flailing station. In an alternate embodiment infeed rolls are provided to vertically orient the plurality of stems so that debarking as well as delimbing can be efficiently performed at the flailing station.

  • Patent number: 4690187
Abstract: Apparatus for flail debarking a plurality of logs simultaneously. The logs are fed substantially side-by-side to a flail debarking unit having sets of flailing units disposed above and below the feeding plane of the logs. A size reducing means is disposed below the feed plane of the logs for reducing the debri from the logs before it is directed to an external location.

  • Patent number: 4385650
Abstract: An improved feed roll for logs and the like has a plurality of radially extending trapezoidally shaped pyramids spaced circumferentially about the surface. In adjacent rows an offset may be provided and certain dimensional relationships are provided to yield increased traction with a reduction in tree surface damage.

  • Patent number: 4358144
Abstract: A self-releasing choker has ferrule holding jaws in a casing movable between a ferrule accepting station, a load carrying station, and a ferrule releasing station located intermediate the other two stations. Locking means holds the jaws closed while in the load carrying station and releasing means permits the jaws to open only while they are moving past the ferrule releasing station in the direction of the ferrule accepting station. Dampening means provides a time delay to keep the jaws from moving all of the way to the ferrule releasing station when the load is only momentarily taken off the ferrule.
