Abstract: A contraceptive device for transcervical reversible cornual sterilization includes an implant portion configured for implanting into the patient's uterine myometrium at a uterine cornu and circumscribing the fallopian tube's opening and a cap portion removably connected to the implant portion. The cap portion has an impermeable membrane substantially impermeable to the passage of reproductive cells, wherein when the implant portion is implanted into the uterine myometrium near the fallopian tube opening circumscribing the fallopian tube opening, the cap portion occludes the fallopian tube.

Abstract: This invention discloses a process for making polymerizable and/or reactable vinyl monomer oligomers with narrow molecular weight distributions using catalytic distillation and a catalyst situated in an immobile catalyst bed in a reaction zone of the distillation column reactor. The polymerizable oligomer products comprise at least 50% by weight of a single molecular weight oligomer fraction.

Abstract: A quick-release fastener device for fitment to the shank of a screw, stud or pin or the like device. The fastener is characterized by the provision of a collet member, which is composed of a number of segmental collet elements, and a retaining member which surrounds the collet member to retain the elements thereof in a cooperative relationship. The collet member is displaceable within or from the retaining member to permit separation of the collet elements one from the other and, hence, to permit quick release of the fastener from a device to which it is fitted.
