    Abstract: An oilfield treatment fluid in the form of an emulsion wherein the emulsion contains at least one treatment agent sequestered within a phase of the emulsion, wherein the emulsion is stable when the pH is maintained within a predetermined range, and breaks to release the at least one treatment agent when the pH is changed to a release pH value outside the predetermined stable pH range.
