Abstract: A computer readable storage medium includes executable instructions to derive a table representing operations associated with an application. One or more parameters are received. A query is executed against the table if the parameters are resolvable with respect to one or more columns in the table. A derived query is constructed based on one or more additional parameters if the parameters are not resolvable with respect to one or more columns in the table. The derived query is executed against the table. A query result is returned.
