Abstract: The shielding of the blade against lightning comprises a conducting component forming a leading edge glove and a cover for protecting the blade tip across its entire chord. Mechanical means, such as screws and rivets, with protruding shapes, fix the cover on the composite structure of the blade, in addition to some gluing, possibly conductive gluing, and are earthed by the cover, forming points where the lightning can enter or exit, protecting the surrounding composite structure of the blade against damage. At least the cover may have a suction face arm and a pressure face arm of different dimensions, at least in the direction of the span. When the blade is mounted on a member for linking to the hub, electrical continuity with this member and the hub is provided.

Abstract: Automatically controlling the transmission ratios of an automotive vehicle engine by detecting the speed of the engine, generating a signal proportional to the detected speed and comparing this signal with different predetermined reference speed signals, detecting the transmission ratio of the transmission, comparing this ratio with a predetermined reference ratio and generating a ratio signal as long as the detected ratio remains below the reference ratio, maintaining the detected ratio constant until the detected engine speed signal falls below the predetermined reference speed signal and generating a signal to increase the transmission ratio when the engine speed signal falls below the predetermined reference speed signal, and increasing the transmission ratio in the direction of the reference ratio as long as the detected speed signal remains below the predetermined reference speed signal and the detected ratio is less than the reference ratio.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hybrid vehicle of the hydrostatic transmission type comprising a main driving engine, a hydraulic, variable volumetric capacity pump driven from said main engine, a hydraulic motor and a hydropneumatic power accumulator mounted in a delivery conduit of said pump. Said vehicle further comprises an auxiliary hydraulic motor hydraulically mounted in parallel relationship to said first hydraulic motor and having a common output shaft therewith, the volumetric capacity of said auxiliary motor being equal to one fraction of the volumetric capacity of said first hydraulic motor.
