Abstract: This invention relates to an electrical rotating actuator for forming the shed in a weaving loom, particularly for controlling the harness cords of a weaving system of the Jacquard type or the frames of a dobby, comprising a rotor and at least one stator whose armature is formed by a stack of metal plates, characterized in that the stator is formed by at least two stator elements disposed side by side along the axis of rotation of the rotor, each stator element comprising two zones for reception of a winding of electrically conductive wire, the metal plates of each zone disposed opposite one another being mated.

The harness cords are controlled by electric actuators mounted to two panels extending above the heddles and between which a compartment is formed in which a control unit for supplying and monitoring the operation of the actuators is housed.

Abstract: An electrical rotating apparatus for controlling a harness cord associated with the shed of a weaving loom which includes an actuator including a rotor and a stator. The rotor is formed of at least two permanent magnets which are mounted within a tube so as to be spaced axially with respect to one another and wherein a plurality of stator elements are also provided offset axially relative to an axis of rotation of the rotor such that each of the plurality of rotors corresponds with a separate one of the plurality of stators. The polarities of one or the other of the permanent magnets or the stator elements are offset angularly relative to the axis of rotation.

Abstract: A housing for the removable positioning of one or more rotary electric actuators used for formation of the shed of a weaving loom and which housing includes at least one compartment which allows the actuators to be received and removed therefrom by movement in a direction parallel to an axis of rotation of rotary elements associated with the actuators and which elements control the movement of the harness cords of the shed forming device. The housing allows harness threads to be moved relative thereto with respect to the rotary elements and may include a cover to encase the rotary elements associated with the actuators.

Abstract: A process for mounting a funicular element in a shed forming device of a weaving loom of a Jacquard type wherein at least one end of the funicular element is fixed on a pulley adapted to receive the funicular element and which pulley is driven in rotation by an electrical rotary actuator. A device is provided for removably connecting the funicular element to the actuator.

Abstract: A locking mechanism for a rotary electric actuator for the formation of a shed on a loom wherein the actuator includes a driving rotor for rotating a device for winding and unwinding a harness thread and wherein the actuator includes a locking plate driven by the rotor which interacts with a locking member such that, when a stop of the locking member engages the locking plate, rotation of the rotor is stopped. A control mechanism is provided to selectively maneuver the locking member relative to the locking plate.

Abstract: In a Jacquard system, in order to form an oblique shed necessary for the weaving of ribbon-like articles drums whose diameters decrease from one end of the system to the other are provided. The drums are used for driving the runs of funicular elements which bear the knives for actuating the hooks of the modules which house the cords for vertical control of the warp yarns. The drums are driven with oscillating movement by two longitudinal connecting rods.

Abstract: A displacement coder of the differential type wherein, in order to reduce the dimensions thereof, a first disk is rotatably connected to a principal shaft coupled to the shaft which controls the displacement of a mobile member being monitored and a second disk which is coaxially mounted on the principal shaft but which is rotated in a ratio of slightly less than 1 to 1 with respect to the first disk through a driving connection which includes a common pinion and two tooth wheels which wheels are also mounted along the principal shaft.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the system of angular connection of the eccentric of each element of a dobby either with the shaft or with the corresponding arm. This connection is ensured by a double hook borne by the eccentric and mounted to rock so that one or the other of its noses engages in a notch made in the periphery of a driving device fixed to the shaft, or in a notch in a bead of the arm.

Abstract: A shed locating device, interposed between a dobby and the shed forming of a mechanism corresponding weaving loom, of the type comprising an auxiliary motor associated with a dog clutch mechanism for coupling the shaft of said motor to the shaft of the mechanism after disconnection of the mechanism shaft from the shaft of the loom, which dog clutch mechanism comprises a sliding collar member coupled rotationally to the shaft of the mechanism and provided with two series of dog clutch teeth adapted to cooperate selectively with one or the other of two corresponding plates respectively fixed in rotation with the shaft of the loom and with the shaft of the auxiliary motor, wherein the two series of dog clutch teeth of the sliding collar member are provided on two separate ring pieces capable of moving in the axial direction independently of one another against resilient spring return means.
