  • Patent number: 7757436
Abstract: A greening device for façades or walls, consisting mainly of a support structure fixed on the façade to be covered and by at least two modules with flat structure and square or rectangular profile, containing a cultivating substrate and including on one of its large surface apparent vegetation elements, the modules being removably mounted on the support structure substantially concealing the latter. The support structure includes at least two spaced apart vertical rails whereon the modules are mounted in vertical rows being located away from the façade or wall and being individually detachable, each module being in the form of a box with globally flat parallelepiped structure of slight thickness compared to its lateral dimensions, the open side of the box opposite the base being closed with an open-work wall. The vertical opposite side walls have catching elements designed to co-operate with reception sites on the mounting rails.

  • Publication number: 20100015425
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for making a non-woven mat to be used as a reinforcement for a frame in a flexible sealing membrane. The method is characterised in that it includes providing vegetable-origin natural fibres optionally mixed with a minority of thermoplastic or thermofusible fibres, forming a non-woven mat or web by mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic batting, submitting the web to two successive consolidation operations including a needle punching operation and a binding operation with a chemical binder or by a thermal processing preferably under pressure, and finally submitting the non-woven consolidated web to a process for the hydrophobation of the fibres.

  • Patent number: 7631678
Abstract: The invention concerns a hot air device for thermowelding membranes to surfaces. It includes an air inlet, a casing in fluid communication therewith, a combustion chamber mounted within the casing and spaced apart therefrom. The chamber has perforations allowing air to flow therein. The perforations allow some air to flow into the upstream section of the chamber producing an air-fuel mixture, and let the remaining air into the downstream section, thus shortening the flame within the chamber and producing hot air. The device includes an outlet portion for expelling hot air and not allowing a flame out therefrom, and a blower to force airflow from the air inlet through the chamber and out from the nozzle. The chamber may be pyramid or cone shaped and have a deflector to help direct air into the upstream section.

  • Publication number: 20030192283
Abstract: A process for insulating and sealing roofing comprises coating the substrate (2) with a liquid or viscous composition (3) that is based on modified bitumen or a bitumen/polyurethane mixture by covering rough spots (4) and by filling the hollows or emergent cavities (4′) that are present on the surface of the substrate (2), then applying the insulating layer (1) or individual elements that are intended to form the insulating layer (1) on the coated surface of the substrate (2) before the previously applied coating layer (3) solidifies, whereby the coating layer (3) forms, after drying or polymerization, a water-vapor barrier and an agent for adhesion of insulating layer (1) to the attachment substrate (2), and, finally, applying to insulating layer (1) a sealing coating (6).
