Abstract: An optical radiation projector includes a reflector having at least two facing reflective surfaces, dimensioned and positioned with respect to each other and a radiation source to satisfy a selected set of dimensional relationships and which further comprises one fraction of a rear reflective part having at least one meridian section of circular arc shape centered axially forward of the radiation source so that the reflected radiation has a point of convergence situated forward of the outermost part of the source and for which the reflected radiation will have a substantially homogeneous distribution on a plane of utilization.

Abstract: Optical projectors of the kind which supply a beam of radiation whose total ngular field 2.rho.' is determined in at least one reference plane, the angular field containing all the radiant flux, the projector also incorporating a source of radiation associated with a reflecting optical collector system, a conoid or pyramidoid mirror which has at least the reference plane as a plane of symmetry and the minor base of which in conjunction with the reflecting optical collector system, entirely contains optically the source of radiation.
