  • Publication number: 20230383751
Abstract: A compressor includes: a housing including a cylindrical body, and a first cover and a second cover which are respectively arranged at two axial ends of the cylindrical body; a compression mechanism accommodated in the housing and constructed to compress a working fluid; a crankshaft constructed for driving the compression mechanism; a motor constructed to drive the crankshaft to rotate; and a bearing block accommodated in a space defined by the motor and the housing and fixedly attached to the housing, wherein the bearing block is constructed to rotatably support the crankshaft by means of a bearing. The housing is provided with a cylindrical reinforcing portion used for defining a space, and the rigidity of the cylindrical reinforcing portion being greater than that of other parts of the housing. The structure can significantly reduce noise radiation and reduce manufacturing processes and costs.

  • Publication number: 20220412355
Abstract: A scroll plate for use in a scroll compressor is described. The scroll plate comprises a base plate having a first side and a second side, wherein the second side opposes the first side, and a spiral wrap formed on the first side of the base plate, wherein the base plate comprises one or more recesses and wherein an insulating material is located in at least one of the one or more recesses. Further, a scroll compressor having a corresponding scroll plate is described.

  • Patent number: 7201567
Abstract: A compressor system includes a pair of compressors located in a common shell. A common drive shaft drives both compressors and the drive shaft is powered by a single motor. One or both of the compressors can be equipped with a pulse width modulated capacity control system and a vapor injection system. When one compressor is equipped with these systems, the capacity can be varied between 50% and 110%. When both compressors are equipped with these systems, the capacity can be varied between 0% and 120%.
