  • Publication number: 20180101913
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for enhancing the information value of data networks. Consistent with disclosed embodiments, in large datasets, automated linking between data entries is facilitated by configuration and application of one or more entropic filters to the data. A computer system separates the data into groups based on the uniqueness of information carried by the data, then determines an entropy value for each group. Based on a predetermined threshold value, the system filters out data entries that have low entropy values and thus low relevance. The system automatically generates prospective links among the filtered data entries, and provides the network of links to another system for further analysis.
