Abstract: A multi-chamber container is provided having a main container and a main lid. The main container is configured to receive a first inner container which rests on the rim section of the main container. An optional cover for the first inner container is typically provided. A second inner container is releasably attached to, and held to, the lower surface of the main lid by an inner attachment section. The main container is sealed by a skirt section on the main lid so that the contents within the main container, the first inner container, and the second inner container, are only accessible when the lid has been detached from the container, and the first and second containers have been removed. A low cost, easily assembled, secure, single-use, multi-chamber container is provided.

Abstract: A packaging system is provided wherein a main container is used having an inner ledge section on which one or more insert containers can rest. The ledge is provided below the rim of the main container so that the insert container is supported within the main container, but does not interfere with closing of the main container. The main container and insert containers also preferably include corresponding ridge and recess sections that provide interference fitting of the insert container into the main container. This prevents unwanted movement of the insert container within the main container. The packaging system allows the producer and user to stock, ship and use only the components suited for their particular use, and thus provides flexibility in their particular applications.

Abstract: A lid for a container is adapted in its lower region for releasable attachment to the upper rim of the container. The lid has a detachable chamber or compartment which is located below the top surface of lid and depends downwardly therefrom, so that the detachable chamber or compartment is releasably secured to the lid in a position which is inaccessible when the lid is releasably connected to a container. Thus, any contents within the detachable chamber or compartment are only accessible when the lid has been detached from the container, and the detachable chamber or compartment has been removed from its securement to the lid.

Abstract: A cup lid comprising a base cup lid having a drink-through opening formed therein in a planar top portion thereof, and a rotatable stopper associated therewith so as to selectively provide a sealed and unsealed relationship between said drink-through opening and a opening in said rotatable stopper. The base cup lid and the rotatable stopper are mated to one another by the use of convoluted portions on each part which form a sliding tongue and groove relationship. The rotatable stopper has an actuator that can be used to move the rotatable stopper from a closed position wherein the opening in the rotatable stopper and the drink-through opening in the base cup lid, are not aligned, to an open position where the opening in the rotatable stopper and the drink-through opening in the base cup lid, are aligned. An easily operated resealable cup lid is provided.
