  • Patent number: 11346401
Abstract: A bayonet coupling for mounting of a tool on a drive shaft of a machining unit. The drive shaft is connected to the tool via a bayonet coupling, which includes two coupling parts. The one coupling part is provided with a receiving groove for an engaging tab placed on the other coupling part. The receiving groove has a first section with an extension parallel to the axis of rotation and the second section of the receiving groove has an extension transverse, perpendicular, to the axis of rotation, so that the tool is driven via the engagement of the bayonet coupling.

  • Publication number: 20200324392
Abstract: A tool with tool elements, rotating grinding and/or sanding tool is provided. The tool consists of a tool portion and a mounting portion, which secures the tool elements in the tool. The tool is distinguished in that the tool portion comprises first mount, and the mounting portion includes second corresponding mount for engaging with the first mount. The first and second mount include one or more resilient tabs, each of which is provided with at least one barb, and furthermore the mount comprises one or more recesses. When the tool portion and the mounting portion are assembled, the barbs on the resilient tabs will lock in the recesses of the mounting portion which are designed for this, locking the tool portion and the mounting portion to each other.

  • Patent number: 9415482
Abstract: A grinding tool has a grinding head (1) that includes one or more surfaces with a number of recesses (2). Fastenings are provided in one or more recesses (2) for fixing tool members (5). The fastenings are adapter strips (6) disposed in one or more of the recesses (2). The adapter strips (6) are provided with at least one internal and preferably longitudinal recess (7). The recess (7) in the adapter strip (6) has sidewalls (8). Retainer parts (9) of the tool members have complementing outer sidewalls and are mounted in these adapter strips (6). The grinding tool with a universal grinding head (1) uses all types of tool members (5) in one and the same grinding head (1). It is thus possible to change between tool members (5) with different shapes on the retainer part (9) by switching between different adapter strips (6).

  • Publication number: 20150321319
Abstract: A tool with a rotating processing unit with tool elements, preferably an abrading or polishing tool, and with a motor including a drive shaft for driving the processing unit is provided. The drive shaft is drivingly connected with a drive plate disposed at right angles to the drive shaft and provided with first connecting device releasably interacting with corresponding second connecting device which are connected with a base plate for the processing unit. The processing unit will thus be driven by the engagement of the first and second connecting device. The tool elements are fixed in the base plate. By this design it is possible for a user to replace the processing unit rapidly and in a simple way without needing to replace the individual tool elements.

  • Publication number: 20140106651
Abstract: Grinding heads rotate about central axes, have surfaces between plane and cylindrical surfaces provided with retainer grooves for edge profile parts of a number of abrasive paper members with associated support brushes. Abrasive paper members are mounted at angles of 20-40°, preferably about 30°, directed obliquely forward in the direction of rotation of the plane surface and a tangential plane of the cylindrical surface. Retainer grooves for edge profile parts of the abrasive paper members extend obliquely rearward in the direction of rotation of the plane surface at an angle of 3-10° relative to a radial extension. Alternatively, the retainer grooves extend obliquely rearward in the direction of rotation of the cylindrical surface at an angle of 3-10° relative to an axially parallel generatrix of the cylindrical surface. In a simple way a more optimal abrading of particularly outer side edges and edge areas of plate-shaped items is readily achieved.

  • Patent number: 7169027
Abstract: A cylindrical drum has at its circumferential edge a number of recesses, each adapted for accommodating a replaceable grinding element including a retainer in which is mounted a sandpaper, support brushes and/or retainer brushes. The recesses in the cylindrical drum are made with side walls. The retainer is made with corresponding outer side walls. During use, by wedge action between the side walls of the recesses and the outer side walls of the retainer, a squeezing force on the side walls of the retainer directed in the circumferential direction arises. The retainer is designed with grooves for fastening at least one sandpaper, and the grooves extend from an upper side of the retainer and into the retainer for forming at least one elastic and pliable flap which is disposed between the grooves and at least one outer side wall.
