    Abstract: In an approach to user authentication by facial recognition, a computing device repeatedly detects the faces of users within the field of view of an input device. The computing device determines the presence or absence of unregistered users within the field of view of the input device. Determining that only the registered user is present, the computing device presents data in an unrestricted manner. Determining that an unregistered user(s) is present, the computing device presents data in a restricted manner.
