The graphical front end is used by any trader who buys and sells securities in real time; the graphical interface permits the use of active cells on the display to instruct and complete a buy or sell order of any security at any price, at any instant in time when the data for that security is being displayed. Appropriate protocols are employed, along with the necessary translators, for transparent trading action from the viewpoint of the trader; who is able to track his holdings and cash position at any instant in time.
