    Abstract: A handheld light assembly for eradicating pathogens includes a housing. A processor and a lamp are disposed inside the housing. The lamp irradiates surfaces with disinfecting ultraviolet light having a peak wavelength of 222 nm filtered to restrict illumination to between 200 nm and 230 nm within an irradiation zone. A distance measuring system includes a secondary light source generating secondary light and a photodetector for measuring distance of the secondary light to a surface being irradiated by the lamp light being reflected from the surface to the photodetector. The secondary light source is offset at an angle from the lamp thereby projecting the light beam to a central area of the irradiation zone generated by the lamp. The photodetector signals the processor to calculate a vertical distance between the lamp and the central area of the irradiation zone on the surface being irradiated from an angular projection of the secondary light.

The bi-component polymeric microfibers comprise from 5 to 45 wt. % of the first component, are easily processed, and provide fiber cements having improved mechanical properties at relatively low microfiber loadings.

    Abstract: Systems and methods provide for a document fraud detection system for identifying fraudulent documents. The document fraud detection system can include up to three steps of fraud detection, where if the document fails any of the three steps, the document can be flagged for further review. In another embodiment, the document fraud detection system can score each of the three tests, where the scores represent the likelihood that the document is fraudulent. If the combined score satisfies a predetermined criterion, the document can be flagged as potentially fraudulent. The three tests can include analyzing a scanned image of the document and comparing to other similar documents to determine if there have been any alterations. The second test can compare indents to previous documents, and the third test can analyze chemical and biometric factors that may indicate whether the document has been altered.

    Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for sharing class data among virtual machine applications running on one or more guests in a virtualized environment. A control program in a virtual operating system is used to manage the user portions of the virtual operating system, each commonly referred to as a guest. A guest operating system runs on each guest and applications can run on each guest operating system. A memory management facility manages shared memory which includes a class cache configured to store class data. The shared memory may be mounted onto each guest using a cluster file system or accessed via an API interface thereby allowing the class cache to be shared across the guests. By sharing the class cache among the guests, multiple copies of the same class data are no longer necessary thereby optimally using the physical memory on the host.
