Abstract: A virtual assistant server receives an utterance provided by an end user via a channel of a virtual assistant rendered in a client device. The virtual assistant server identifies a current-node of execution from a plurality of nodes of a conversation definition of the virtual assistant and identifies a first set of language models from a group of language models of the virtual assistant to interpret the utterance. Further, the virtual assistant server executes the first set of language models in an order based on the current-node until an intent of the utterance is determined. Subsequently, the virtual assistant server generates a response based on the intent and outputs the response to the client device.

Abstract: The disclosed “Live Mount In Cloud” solution enables, within a cloud computing environment that houses a desired backup copy made from a source virtual machine, immediate access to backed up data on demand without restoring the backup copy in its entirety. Live Mount In Cloud also enables the live-mounted VM to write new data, not just to read from the backup copy. Live Mount In Cloud creates multiply nested VMs within the cloud computing environment. Accordingly, the live-mounted VM runs in (is hosted by) a hypervisor nested within a cloud-native VM. Live Mount In Cloud handles any differences between formatting and configuration settings of the hypervisor hosting the live-mounted VM and the way in which the backup copy is formatted. A backup proxy VM intercepts reads and writes issued by the live-mounted VM and facilitates access to the backup copy.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for a detecting a faulty condition of a roadside unit (RSU) and generating, in response to the detection of the faulty condition, a predetermined distress transmission for broadcast over a wireless interface of the RSU. The distress transmission may be received by on-board units (OBUs) of vehicles and pedestrian devices and relayed to nearby RSUs to inform an operation center of the faulty condition of the RSU.

Abstract: A data storage management system comprises features for initiating failover orchestration jobs that invoke recovery resources on demand in a cloud computing environment. Backed up data that is stored persistently in the cloud computing environment may be rapidly restored within the cloud computing environment for use in disaster recovery and/or in test and verification scenarios. This approach may be contrasted to systems where a failover system is “always on” at the failover destination, such as having failover resources always up and running in the cloud computing environment. Such resources typically include a failover virtual machine (VM), a virtual machine datastore for the restored data, and one or more computing resources for restoring an auxiliary copy to the VM’s datastore. The cloud-based failover resources are deactivated or taken down once the failover event ends.

Abstract: Disclosed is a process for producing terephthalic acid. The process includes contacting p-xylene with a gaseous stream containing oxygen (O2) in presence of a homogeneous catalyst solution, at a reaction temperature of 180° C. to 195° C. to oxidize at least a portion of the p-xylene and form a product stream containing terephthalic acid, said homogeneous catalyst solution contains 350 ppm to 450 ppm cobalt (Co), 170 ppm to 270 ppm manganese (Mn), and 410 ppm to 510 ppm bromine (Br), wherein a Br/(Co+Mn) wt. % ratio is 0.5:1 to 1:1, and a Co to Mn wt. % ratio is 1.5:1 to 2:1.

Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for generating, enhancing, applying and updating knowledge neurons for providing decision making information to a wide variety of client applications. Domain keywords for knowledge domains are generated from domain data of selected domain data sources, along with keyword values for the domain keywords, and are used to generate knowledge artifacts for inclusion in knowledge neurons. These knowledge neurons may be enhanced by domain knowledge data sets found in various data sources and used to generate neural responses to neural queries received from the client applications. Neural feedbacks may be used to update and/or generate knowledge neurons.

Abstract: Customers of a software platform, such as a unified communications as a service platform, are enabled to control their own encryption keys used to encrypt and decrypt data from various communication services in the software platform. A key broker server is employed to map encryption and decryption requests from servers in the platform to key management servers of customers based on user identifiers. Examples of data encrypted may includes conference recordings, webinar recordings, phone call recordings, voicemails, emails, and calendar tokens.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for delaying packet transmissions over a wireless communication channel until a more favorable channel condition is detected. A device may measure a channel metric when it receives periodic beacon signals. The device may compare the channel metric against a programmed metric threshold. If the channel metric is less than the metric threshold, the device may delay the transmission of a packet until a later transmission window or transmit opportunity (TXOP) when the channel metric rises above the metric threshold, indicating the presence of a more favorable condition for transmission, or until a preconfigured timeout period elapses before the more favorable condition is found.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for implementing autonomous operation optimization and control is provided. The method includes defining nodes associated with facilities at differing geographical locations. A first node is assigned as a location of an entity and a second node is assigned as a location of a warehouse comprising products for delivery. A value for the first node and second node is determined based on a modification of a node route and clusters associated with geographical locations of the nodes are defined. Likewise, a network comprising routes extending between the nodes and facilities is defined. The nodes, results of assigning, the value, the clusters, and the network are analyzed. In response to the analysis, a recommendation for a facility and specified route is generated and operational functionality of an apparatus with respect to facility and the specified route is enabled in accordance with the recommendations.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer media are described for dynamically mitigating slow web pages. Wait time thresholds can be established for individual pages or categories of pages. The wait time thresholds reflect a delay time determined to be acceptable to users. Pages for which wait time thresholds are established can be monitored, and when requests to load one of the pages results in a delay beyond the threshold, which indicates a slow page, alternative content can be provided to the requesting user. The alternative content is selected to be useful to the user in accomplishing the user's goal despite the delay and can be a help page or information for accessing desired information in another way.

An example process of animating an avatar includes at an electronic device having one or more processors and memory, receiving text, determining an emotional state, and generating, using a neural network, a speech data set representing the received text and a set of parameters representing one or more movements of an avatar based on the received text and the determined emotional state.

Abstract: Asset error remediation is provided. Risk and classification of an asset error are analyzed to prioritize asset error remediation for an asset based on risk criticality, risk context, and vulnerability level corresponding to the asset by detecting suspicious behavior and risk exposure to the asset in a heterogeneous distributed computing environment using artificial intelligence. A priority of the asset error remediation is determined to fix the asset within the heterogeneous distributed computing environment based on the risk and the classification of the asset error. A set of action steps is performed to fix the asset within the heterogeneous distributed computing environment based on the priority of the asset error remediation.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating recommendation data for cataloging items in an e-procurement system is provided. In various embodiments, a database of records is created and maintained corresponding to a plurality of transactions in an e-procurement system. In various embodiments, database records are weighted and sorted according a transaction method associated with the records. In various embodiments, recommendation data is generated for items associated with the records to suggest more efficient methods for offering items for procurement in an e-marketplace based on the weights and sort order of the records.

Abstract: A method includes causing activation, at a first time, of a first set of squeezed light sources from a plurality of squeezed light sources of a Gaussian boson sampling (GBS) circuit. At a second time after the first time, a first photon statistic is detected at a first output port from a plurality of output ports of the GBS circuit. At a third time after the first time, a second set of squeezed light sources from the plurality of squeezed light sources of the GBS circuit is activated, the second set of squeezed light sources being different from the first set of squeezed light sources. At a fourth time after the third time, a second photon statistic is detected at a second output port from the plurality of output ports of the GBS circuit. At least one transformation matrix is estimated that represents a linear optical interferometer of the GBS circuit based on the first photon statistic and the second photon statistic.

Abstract: An integrated design and development platform (IDDP) server receives instructions corresponding to one or more user interactions in a graphical user interface rendered in a user device such as an I/O device or an external computing device. The IDDP server enables, based on the received one or more instructions, conversational interaction with a process application by cloning one or more bot definitions and adding the cloned one or more bot definitions to an existing bot or a new bot and by automatically configuring the cloned one or more bot definitions to at least communicate with the process application.

Abstract: According to some embodiments, methods and systems may include a data storage device that contains document files associated with a plurality of document line objects with attributes, the attributes including item terms and conditions. An object exchange platform processor may receive input values for a selected document line object with attributes and determine that the selected document line object contains multiple object sets. The processor may then create, for each object set, a separate executable outline document having an outline document identifier. The processor may also arrange to establish the plurality of executable outline documents at a remote external central component platform. According to some embodiments, objects within the selected document line object have a hierarchical structure such that some objects are sub-items of other objects.

Abstract: A virtual assistant server receives a web request such as a HTTP request with one or more call parameters corresponding to a call redirected from an interactive voice response server. The virtual assistant server inputs the received one or more call parameters to a predictive model, which identifies, based on the one or more call parameters, an intelligent communication mode to route the redirected call to. Subsequently, the virtual assistant server routes the redirected call to the intelligent communication mode.
