    Abstract: The present invention relates to waterproofing sealer compositions that protect various types of porous substrates from deterioration due to water absorption and thus extend their useful lives. Example of porous substrate are concrete, brick, masonry, ceramics, stones, cloth, wood and the like. These waterbased compositions comprise alkali metalalkylsiliconates, alkali silicates, polymers, diluents and additives.These sealer compositions do not change appearance and character of the substrate surface.
