  • Patent number: 11815111
Abstract: Microstructured surface development three dimensional form solutions that provide multiple functional benefits when applied to an object. Microstructured surface development three dimensional form solutions that provide efficiency gains to an object in dynamic motion in a fluid medium through aerodynamic/hydrodynamic skin friction drag reduction. Microstructured surface development three dimensional form solutions that additionally provide functional benefits to an object in a static, non-moving state as well as a dynamic state—namely super-hydrophobicity, light absorption, sound/radar absorption and heat dissipation. Microstructured surface development three dimensional form solutions that can be molded into the surface of an object. Microstructured surface development three dimensional form solutions that can be added to the surface of an object though a secondary forming operation (ie machining, laser engraving).

  • Publication number: 20230351874
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel package alarm device. The device is a storage box or door mat for delivered packages. The device comprises a base component with pressure sensors, such that when a package is placed on the base component, the weight and time of the package delivery is identified. Further, the base component comprises an alarm system with several flashing alarms that activate if motion is detected near the base component to prevent theft of a package left on its surface. The base component can be activated or deactivated with a remote and may be used in conjunction with a smart doorbell system. Further, the base component can comprise its own camera and notification system and can send a text message and a photo/video of the delivery to the user and/or the delivery service through a smartphone application.

  • Publication number: 20220414952
Abstract: An image augmentation system and method for simulating the application of a coating to a surface of an original image. A mask generator can perform a search to detect a recognized object depicted in the original image, and generate a object mask for the recognized object. A user interface can to receive an identification of a selected object and an identification of a selected coating to be simulated on the selected object, and display a painted image. A renderer can receive the object mask for the selected object and the selected coating and generate the painted image, each pixel of the painted image having a painted color determined based on the object mask, the coating, and the original image.
