    Abstract: A chemical mechanical polishing system includes a platen to hold a polishing pad, a carrier head to hold a substrate against a polishing surface of the polishing pad, and a controller. The polishing pad has a polishing control groove. The carrier is laterally movable by a first actuator across the polishing pad and rotatable by a second actuator. The controller synchronizes lateral oscillation of the carrier head with rotation of the carrier head such that over a plurality of successive oscillations of the carrier head such that when a first angular swath of an edge portion of the substrate is at an azimuthal angular position about an axis of rotation of the carrier head the first angular swath overlies the polishing surface and when a second angular swath of the edge portion of the substrate is at the azimuthal angular position the second angular swath overlies the polishing control groove.

    Abstract: A method of chemical mechanical polishing includes rotating a polishing pad about an axis of rotation, positioning a substrate against the polishing pad, the polishing pad having a groove that is concentric with the axis of rotation, oscillating the substrate laterally across the polishing pad such that a central portion of the substrate and an edge portion of the substrate are positioned over a polishing surface of the polishing pad for a first duration, and holding the substrate substantially laterally fixed in a position such that the central portion of the substrate is positioned over the polishing surface of the polishing pad and the edge portion of the substrate is positioned over the groove for a second duration.

The motion of the at least one target can be recorded relative to the training object using the image data and one or more sensors deployed to the at least one target. A progression of therapeutic routines may be shown to the user depending on how the user's therapy is progressing. A second movement sequence can be received and the training object can be caused to perform the second movement sequence.

The training object can be caused to perform at least one movement sequence. The motion of the target can be monitored based on the sensor data, and compared to the at least one movement sequence. Based on the comparison, at least one sensor can be caused to provide feedback to the target through the at least one sensor.

The method further includes, if the requested right is included in the set of rights, encrypting the content key with a public license key, wherein the private license key is configured to decrypt the content key. The method also includes transmitting the content key to the rendering device; transmitting the multimedia content file; decrypting the multimedia content file; and rendering the multimedia content file.

    Abstract: The invention relates to the general field of a portable wireless communication system. In particular, the wireless communication system is designed to integrate with existing cellular communication systems and wireless local area network (LAN) systems. In one embodiment, the invention is a portable communication system that combines the advantages of the cellular wide area coverage with the low cost of WiFi Internet telephones. Advantages of the invention include the ability for portable devices to communicate with other users via both cellular and WiFi by the least expensive means possible. The result is a cost effective telecommunications network. Additional advantages include the ability to hand-over calls between cellular networks and WiFi networks. Additional advantages include true number portability since any telephone number can now be accessed via a number of different networks.

Advantages of the invention include the ability to view television programs over the Internet.

    Abstract: A portable video storage and playback device can download, store, and playback video files. In an exemplary embodiment, the files can be played-back in a number of different formats. In one embodiment, the invention includes a disk drive for storing a plurality of video files. A processor is coupled to the disk drive and configured to manage the files stored on the disk, which includes the ability to store, display and retrieve the video files. The invention includes a number of interfaces, for example, PAL/NTSC, S-Video and USB, which allows the video to be downloaded and played-back in any of these formats or protocols. The invention and includes a video encoder/decoder, which in one aspect is for MPEG. Advantages of the invention include the ability to store a number of video files in a compact portable device that can be transported and viewed at convenient locations.
