    Abstract: The present invention provides a single circuit that may have multiple protection functions for a DC voltage power supply. The present invention may include separate circuit modules that are employed individually, or in various combinations. These separate circuit modules include: a temperature and input voltage variation compensated current limit circuit; an inrush and transient current limit combined with an overload and short circuit protection circuit; and a self adaptive short circuit turn-off timing circuit.
