Patent number: 11952368Abstract: Provided are a fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) dimer compound, an FAPI dimer-based positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent for tumor diagnosis, and a preparation method and use thereof. An amphiphilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain and a dimerized structure of FAPI in the FAPI dimer compound with a structure shown in formula I can improve the in vivo kinetic properties of the compound and prolong a residence time of the compound in a tumor, thereby improving the uptake and imaging effects in the tumor. The accurate tumor diagnosis can be achieved by labeling the FAPI dimer compound with a diagnostic nuclide (68Ga), which has promising application prospects in PET imaging for diagnosis and in the preparation of a therapeutic nuclide (such as 177Lu or 90Y)-labeled drug for treating a FAP-?-expressing tumor.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Xiamen UniversityInventors: Haojun Chen, Liang Zhao, Qin Lin, Kaili Fu, Yizhen Pang, Zhide Guo, Jianyang Fang, Long Sun, Hua Wu

Publication number: 20190369114Abstract: Sample preparation for proteomic analysis of complex biological samples by mass spectrometry is a tedious and time-consuming process with many steps where technical variations can be introduced and propagated. We describe an automated trypsin digestion workflow that yields uniformly-processed samples in less than 5 hours. Reproducible quantitation of hundreds of peptides from numerous proteins was seen across replicates, days, instruments, and laboratory sites, demonstrating the broad applicability of this approach.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 18, 2019Publication date: December 5, 2019Applicant: Cedars-Sinai Medical CenterInventors: Jennifer VAN EYK, Qin FU, Vidya VENKATRAMAN, Irina TCHERNYSHYOV

Publication number: 20140257742Abstract: The invention involves “a method to structure mineral aggregate gradation by using three control points & two curves”, including the following steps: (1) Three control points are determined according to the property of the mixtures: nominal maximum size of aggregate and its passing rate, nominal minimum size of aggregate and its passing rate, and the discontinuity point between the coarse aggregate and the fine aggregate and its passing rate. (2) The grading curves of the coarse and the fine aggregate are selected respectively with Power function model, Exponential function model and Logarithmic function model. (3) Measure the stamped density and the stamped voids in mineral aggregate, and then choose the grading of the coarse and the fine aggregate on the basis of the project need. The invention can help constitute different gradation curves in line with local materials from different areas and sources.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 15, 2012Publication date: September 11, 2014Applicants: RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF HIGHWAY, MOT, PRC, GUANGXI COMMUNICATIONS INVESTMENT GROUP CO., LTD.Inventors: Xudong Wang, Qin Fu, Lei Zhang, Yi Liu, Xingye Zhou, Fujian Li

Publication number: 20040101510Abstract: We measured the levels of 78 different cytokines and growth factors in culture supernatants to determine the cytokine profiles of cells treated with PARC. We found that specific cytokines were suppressed by PARC. PARC can be used to treat diseases such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, myeloproliferative disorders, and coronary artery disease, which are characterized by too much mitosis.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2003Publication date: May 27, 2004Applicant: Molecular Staging Inc.Inventors: Qin Fu, Velizar T. Publication number: 20040009503Abstract: Human extracellular ribonucleases (RNases) are widely distributed in various organs and body fluids and together with other members of the mammalian RNase A superfamily. In addition to their RNase activity, several RNases have been shown to have special biological actions, i.e., antitumor, antiviral and angiogenic properties. However, the molecular mechanisms of such activities are unclear. Using protein microarrays amplified rolling circle amplification (RCA), we investigated the effects of EDN (Rnase 2), ECP (Rnase 3) and RNase 1 on leukocytes cytokine production. We measured the levels of 78 different cytokines and growth factors in culture supernatants to determine the cytokine profiles of cells treated with different combinations of RNases and RNase inhibitors.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 26, 2003Publication date: January 15, 2004Applicant: Molecular Staging, Inc.Inventors: Qin Fu, Velizar Tchernev, Ebenezer Satyaraj, Dhavalkumar D.
