In the method, a video image is acquired, where the video image includes a two-dimensional sticker, and the two-dimensional sticker includes a target area. by performing key point detection on the video image, a preset number of first key points associated with the target area in the two-dimensional sticker are acquired. The preset number of second key points that are marked and associated with the target area are acquired. A display area of the two-dimensional sticker in the video image is determined according to the preset number of the first key points and the preset number of the second key points, and the two-dimensional sticker is rendered in the display area.
