  • Patent number: 9968644
Abstract: The present invention relates to traditional Chinese medicine, particularly to a traditional Chinese medicine composition for sober-up and hepatic protection and a process for preparing the same. This composition is made from Radix Puerariae, Semen Hoveniae and Fructus Gardeniae. This composition has no significant effect on the body weight of mice. The hepatic TG level in animals of 1.400 g/kg·bw dosage group is significantly lower than that of the model control group, while the hepatic GSH level is significantly higher than that of the model control group. The degree of hepatic steatosis in animals of 1.400 g/kg·bw dosage group is significantly lower than that of the model control group. Therefore, the composition of the present invention has auxiliary protective effects on liver damages caused by alcohol. The process for preparing the composition comprises: extracting Radix Puerariae, Semen Hoveniae and Fructus Gardeniae with water, concentrating, drying, and pulverizing the extract.

  • Publication number: 20170368083
Abstract: The present invention relates to the pharmaceutical field, and in particular to a ginsenoside composition, and preparation method and use thereof. The ginsenoside composition comprises rare ginsenosides Rh4, Rk3, Rk1 and Rg5. By conducting a systematic research on the change in active ingredients during the steaming process of ginseng and applying response surface to design experiments so as to optimize the ginseng processing process, a processing method wherein there is the most significant change in ginsenoside ingredients relative to the original medicinal material, and especially a processing method for efficiently obtaining rare ginsenoside ingredients, is unexpectedly discovered in the present invention. Through later screening of pharmacological activities, the inventors further unexpectedly discovered that the processed ginseng product rich in rare ginsenosides has a significant efficacy in invigorating kidney yang.
