  • Publication number: 20210319386
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for capturing teammate-connection information and leveraging this information to improve services of a social networking service. The teammates feature allows users to identify a subset of their connections as teammate connections, which are connections that work directly with the user as a manager, a peer (person reporting to the same manager as the user), or a direct report. The teammate-connection information is used for improving services and notifications, such as new-connection suggestions, construction of the user feed, group conversations and messaging, notification prioritization, etc. Unlike existing connection patterns, the teammate-connections information is structured data. The structured data provides a better understanding of the relationships among the users and allows optimization of the user experience. In one aspect, a method is presented to generate recommendations of possible teammates for users of the social networking service.

  • Patent number: 10970325
Abstract: In an embodiment, the disclosed technologies include receiving a set of digital inputs; where the set of digital inputs includes a candidate entity-member entity pair that includes candidate entity data and member entity data; where the member entity data has been extracted from a node of an online service; where an exact match has not been found between the candidate entity data and the member entity data; in response to the set of digital inputs, outputting models of the candidate entity data and the member entity data, respectively; where the models indicate weight values assigned to text in the candidate entity data and weight values assigned to text in the member entity data, respectively; calculating a similarity score using the models; in response to the similarity score matching a threshold, inputting the candidate entity-member entity pair to a classifier to produce a classification; where the classifier uses a machine learning model that has been trained using features derived from previously-analyz

  • Patent number: 8726211
Abstract: A method is provided for use during static timing analysis of an integrated circuit design to produce an equivalent waveform model, the method comprising: using an analog model of the inner component, to simulate an inner component to produce multiple analog simulation output characterization waveforms as a function of multiple input waveforms used to characterize the design cell; using the analog model of the inner component to simulate the inner component to produce an analog simulation output waveform as a function of the complex waveform; and producing the equivalent waveform model as a function of the multiple analog simulation output characterization waveforms and the analog simulation output waveform.
