Abstract: A method, apparatus and software is disclosed for managing a call in a telecommunications network, in which an instruction from a calling device to establish a call to a destination is received; a first command to connect a first call leg to the calling device is issued; the first call leg to the calling device is connected; a second command to connect a second call leg to the calling device is issued; the second call leg is connected to the destination instead of the calling device; and the first and second call legs are connected to provide the call between the calling device and the destination.

Abstract: Optoelectronic devices, such as photovoltaic devices, comprising a low band gap, solution processable diketopyrrolopyrrole or dithioketopyrrolopyrrole chromophore core or cores are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods of fabricating such optoelectronic devices.

Abstract: A method to apply a V-shaped eyelash having four symmetric tapered strands attached at the mounting portion to natural eyelash's hair. The V-shaped eyelash has two strands on each side. The V flare corresponds to an angle can be less than or equal to 160° degrees. The thickness of each strand can be 0.10 mm to 0.30 mm thick at the base and tapered at the tips. The lengths can be from 7 mm to 17 mm giving the illusion of a natural long, beautiful and luscious eyelash. Because the eyelash extension is a V shape with the two strands on each side, the eyelash can distribute weight evenly on each side. The natural hair strand as the holder at center also making the eyelash extensions last longer. The eyelashes are made from synthetic fiber which is crimp free and can be permed to a C, and J curl.

Abstract: Counter anions having oxidative properties alter the performance of solution processed multilayer polymer light emitting diodes (PLEDs) that use cationic conjugated polyelectrolytes (CPEs) as electron injection layers (EILs). In some versions, PLEDs with poly(2-methoxy-5-(2?-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene) (MEH-PPV) emissive layers and cationic CPE EILs are altered with halide counter anions to exhibit a systematic increase in device performance. Exemplary oxidative counter anions are halide counter anions with F?>Cl?>Br?>I? in terms of device performance.

The conjugated oligoelectrolyte can be positively or negatively charged, and used in conjunction in a device with either or high or low work function metal.

Abstract: Improved processing methods for enhanced properties of conjugated polymer films are disclosed, as well as the enhanced conjugated polymer films produced thereby. Addition of low molecular weight alkyl-containing molecules to solutions used to form conjugated polymer films leads to improved photoconductivity and improvements in other electronic properties. The enhanced conjugated polymer films can be used in a variety of electronic devices, such as solar cells and photodiodes.

Abstract: A generic structure for the peptides of the present invention includes A-X-B-C, where C is a cargo moiety, the B portion includes basic amino acids, X is a cleavable linker sequence, and the A portion includes acidic amino acids. The intact structure is not significantly taken up by cells; however, upon extracellular cleavage of X, the B-C portion is taken up, delivering the cargo to targeted cells. Cargo may be, for example, a contrast agent for diagnostic imaging, a chemotherapeutic drug, or a radiation-sensitizer for therapy. X may be cleaved extracellularly or intracellularly. The molecules of the present invention may be linear, cyclic, branched, or have a mixed structure.
