  • Patent number: 11995674
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing social media referrals based rewards to a customer. The systems and methods may provide incentives to customers of financial-service providers (“FSP”) based on their referrals to the FSP. Customer referrals may be determined for the customer by gathering data regarding referrals received from messages distributed by the customer via social media. Based on the referrals, an amount of rewards may be provided for business transactions initiated by the customer.

  • Patent number: 11995609
Abstract: In one embodiment, a processing device receives a first digital fingerprint of a media item along with a first content management rule. The processing device separately receives a second digital fingerprint of the media item along with a second content management rule. The processing device determines that the received digital fingerprints are for the same media item based upon a match between the first digital fingerprint and the second digital fingerprint. The processing device determines that all rights to the media item have been accounted for, and then determines a set of actions to be performed for hosted media items comprising the media item based at least in part upon the first content management rule and the second content management rule. Processing logic may also perform a conflict resolution process for conflicting rights claims to the media item.

  • Publication number: 20240162675
Abstract: An arrangement for generating amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) over the combination of the C-band and L-band wavelength ranges is proposed, based on a reflective topology that reduces the number of individual components (compared with separate C-band and L-band ASE sources) required to generate the broadband ASE output. A pair of ASE generators are used, where at least one of the generators is configured to include a reflective element at a termination of the included gain fiber. The inclusion of the reflective element allows for the generated emission to pass through the gain fiber twice (emulating the operation of a conventional dual-stage ASE source). A long wavelength portion of the ASE created by a first ASE generator may be used as a seed input by the remaining ASE generator of the pair to further increase the efficiency of extending the ASE along the L-band wavelength range.

  • Publication number: 20240160268
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system includes multiple power management mechanism operating in different time domains (e.g., with different bandwidths) and control circuitry that is configured to coordinate operation of the mechanisms. If one mechanism is adding energy to the system, for example, the control circuitry may inform another mechanism that the energy is coming so that the other mechanism may not take as drastic an action as it would if no energy were coming. If a light workload is detected by circuitry near the load, and there is plenty of energy in the system, the control circuitry may cause the power management unit (PMU) to generate less energy or even temporarily turn off. A variety of mechanisms for the coordinated, coherent use of power are described.

  • Patent number: 11972140
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system may support programmable hashing of address bits at a plurality of levels of granularity to map memory addresses to memory controllers and ultimately at least to memory devices. The hashing may be programmed to distribute pages of memory across the memory controllers, and consecutive blocks of the page may be mapped to physically distant memory controllers. In an embodiment, address bits may be dropped from each level of granularity, forming a compacted pipe address to save power within the memory controller. In an embodiment, a memory folding scheme may be employed to reduce the number of active memory devices and/or memory controllers in the system when the full complement of memory is not needed.
