  • Patent number: 10802111
Abstract: A level measurement instrument comprises an analog circuit for transmitting a pulse signal at a target of interest and receiving reflected echoes of the pulse signal and developing an echo waveform representative of the reflected echoes. A programmed digital circuit is operatively coupled to the analog circuit and comprises a programmed controller and memory. The controller is operatively programmed to identify peaks in the echo waveform and store an active peak list in the memory from a current measurement scan and a buffer peak list from prior measurement scans. The controller is further programmed to match peaks in the active peak list to peaks in the buffer peak list, to select a target peak from the active peak list based on which of the matched peaks have moved, and determining material level responsive to the target peak.

  • Patent number: 10518850
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to provide a fairing block that couples a sonar transducer to a hull of a mobile structure. The fairing block includes a leading edge that diverts water and bubbles in the water laterally around the fairing block and the sonar transducer. A bottom of the leading edge provides a substantially undisturbed water flow over a working face of the sonar transducer while the mobile structure is in motion. The bottom of the leading edge may include a curvilinearly chamfered surface that helps prevent cavitation along the working face of the transducer. One or more lateral cutouts are disposed behind the leading edge to expose lateral sides of the sonar transducer to the water. The lateral sides of the sonar transducer may be metallic and exposed to water by the lateral cutouts, thereby dissipating heat generated within the sonar transducer to the water.

  • Publication number: 20190257935
Abstract: A radar transmitter for emulsion measurement comprises a probe mountable to a bottom of a vessel and defining a transmission line extending upward into the vessel, in use, for sensing impedance. A pulse circuit is connected to the probe for periodically generating pulses on the transmission line and receiving a reflected signal from the transmission line, each reflected signal comprising a waveform of probe impedance over time. A controller is operatively connected to the pulse circuit and comprises a programmed processor and a memory. The memory stores trace data of a plurality of individual waveforms. The processor is programmed to profile a first section of the waveforms which does not change over time and a second section of the waveforms which changes over time, representing an emulsion moving in the vessel. The controller locates where the waveforms indicates motion to determine emulsion level.

  • Publication number: 20190114167
Abstract: In response to detecting a code change request for a particular file of multiple files of a software build during testing, a computer generates a sensitivity rating of the particular file to cause breaks in the software build based on a relative level of failure of the particular file as compared to the multiple files based on one or more factors. The computer outputs a response to the code change request based on the sensitivity rating to one or more integrated development environment interfaces with access to the particular file of the software build. The computer uses the sensitivity rating to determine whether to grant the code change request.

  • Patent number: 10175978
Abstract: In response to detecting a software build break during testing, a change to a particular file committed to the software build that caused the software build to break is identified. A record of the change to the particular file is added to a sensitivity database, the sensitivity database accumulating multiple records of changes to the files of the software build during development of the software build. A relative level of failure of the particular file from the files of the software build based on the record in comparison with the multiple records is calculated. A sensitivity rating of the particular file to cause breaks in the software build based on the relative level of failure of the particular file weighted by one or more factors is generated. The sensitivity rating is output to one or more integrated development environment interfaces with access to the particular file of the software build.
