    Abstract: A method of producing a synthetic structural material for use in constructing mats for temporary roads and access areas. The matting is formed from extruded synthetic structural members formed from a blend comprising HDPE; SBR in an amount less than 4.0 percent by weight of the blend; and PET. Extruded structural members so produced have low electrostatic properties with a desired structural flexibility and resistance to retained memory after loading.
