Abstract: Disclosed herein is a composition comprising a first lanthanide series metal, wherein the composition has a pH of less than 2.0 and is substantially free of peroxide. Also disclosed herein is a composition comprising a first lanthanide series metal and at least one of a second lanthanide series metal, copper, an inorganic phosphate compound, an organophosphate compound, and an organophosphonate compound; wherein the composition is substantially free of peroxide. Also disclosed herein are systems and methods of treating a metal substrate. Also disclosed are substrates treated with the systems and methods.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for treating a magnesium or a magnesium alloy substrate comprising: a first pretreatment composition comprising a fluorometallic acid and free fluoride in an amount of 10 ppm to 500 ppm based on total weight of the first pretreatment composition and having a pH of 1.0 to 4.0; and a second pretreatment composition comprising a lanthanide series metal, the second pretreatment composition being substantially free of peroxide. Also disclosed are methods of treating a magnesium or magnesium alloy substrate. Treated magnesium and magnesium alloy substrates also are disclosed.

Abstract: Novel cytokine combinations comprising the combination of a type I cytokine, e.g., interleukin-2 (IL-2), or an IL-2 superkine variant (super-2); and a type II cytokine, e.g., IL-33 or IL-25 are provided for use in treating cancer or infection, e.g., solid tumors. These cytokines may be administered in soluble form or may be expressed by cells, e.g., immune cells which express an endogenous or chimeric receptor which binds to target cells, e.g., cancer cells such as those in a solid tumor.

The embodiments of the present disclosure may additionally assess the quality of responses to queries by members, as well as expand or narrow the distribution of the query among the social network based on various events and criteria.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for sharing data among computing devices. In one technique, a first device broadcasts wireless data and establishes a wireless connection with a second device. The first device receives authorization data and first entity data from the second device. The first device authorizes the second device based on the authorization data. The first device then sends second entity data through the wireless connection to the second computing device. The first device sends the first entity data over a network to a remote server system. The first device receives, from the remote server system, entity data that pertains to an entity that is identified by the first entity data. The first device may then display at least a portion of the entity data on a screen of the first device.
