  • Publication number: 20240166031
Abstract: Antiglare device for vehicles comprising a retractable sunvisor, a sun sensor and a control unit; the retractable sunvisor comprising a sunvisor screen and a movement mechanism to provide a sliding and rotating movement; the sun sensor comprising one to sixteen photosensors is a unique part; the device also comprises an acceleration sensor comprising one to three accelerometers; the control unit being connected to the movement mechanism, the sun sensor and the acceleration sensor, taking into account all the measurements of the sun sensor and the acceleration sensor. Method of use of the antiglare device that measures the sun light incident angle and intensity, calculates in the control unit of an extent of sliding and/or rotation of the sunvisor screen; the measure step also includes to measure the vehicle movement by the acceleration sensor. The device and method provide an adaptation of the position of the sunvisor at all driving conditions.

  • Publication number: 20170313211
Abstract: A locking mechanism for a backrest of a vehicle includes a rotary latch engageable over a locking striker fixed to the vehicle and a detent pawl having a first contact surface configured for contacting against the rotary latch, when the rotary latch rotates with a first pivoting movement, to establish a first locking position wherein the rotary latch is in engagement over the locking striker. The detent pawl includes a second contact surface configured for contacting against the rotary latch, when the rotary latch rotates with an additional pivoting movement further form the first locking position, to establish a second locking position wherein the detent pawl pushes the rotary latch against the striker.

  • Patent number: 7108309
Abstract: The sun visor comprises a plate (1) for fastening to the bodywork of the vehicle and an arm (2) mounted in a hinged manner on the base (1), which in turn constitutes the means of assembly for the eyeshade of the sun visor. The arm (2) has a pair of conductive metallic elements (9) and (9?), located approximately parallel to each other and coated by means of an over-injected material, leaving the end (10) of such metallic elements (9–9?) uncovered to be able to establish contact with strips (7) foreseen in the hole (5) wherein the arm (2) is mounted in a hinged manner, whilst the other end of such elements (9–9?) in one case appears on the exterior in a terminal length (11) and in another of shorter length and defines a terminal end (12) which is uncovered on the arm (2), to be able to establish connection with a contact established on the actual eyeshade of the sun visor, for the enabling or disabling of the electrical device which can interact with said sun visor.

  • Publication number: 20050235574
Abstract: The present invention relates to a supporting module with waterproof seal for vehicle doors mainly comprised of a flexible laminar element (2) that can establish a waterproof seal between the wet and dry sides of the door (1), also meant to facilitate the mounting tasks of each component. The flexible laminar element has a sufficient supporting capacity to allow a preliminary mounting on it of the various door components for a subsequent installation of the entire assembly on the door in a single operation; however, the strength and structural capacities of the door continue to rely on its reinforcements and ribs, and not on the flexible laminar element, thereby allowing a cheaper and simpler laminar element and assembly as a whole.
